What type of listings will you accept?
We want Event Vendors.com to be a single source to locate and research event related vendors. At this time, we only accept U.S. english language based listings for event related companies. This means a company that offers products or services specifically suited to special events. We will decline to list other companies that do not meet this criteria. We only accept U.S. english language listings at this time so we can validate the listings and effectively monitor for inappropriate content. We hope to add international and non-English capabiltiies in the future. We also will not list sites or content that are adult in nature.
Do you review all content?
Yes, we review all content that is posted to our site in as timely a manner as possible. Listings will need to be approved prior to appearing on our site. This process usually takes 24 to 48 hours. You will receive an update when the listing has been approved. If it is not approved, we will notify you of this fact and provide details of why so that you can make changes. If we do not accept a paid listing, all fees will be refunded. Once your listing is approved, you can make subsequent updates and revisions as often as you would like without any waiting period or approval. Should we be become aware of inappropriate content, we do reserve the right to suspend or remove your listing. We also review all comments/feedback that is left on your listing (if you have this feature) to ensure that it is appropriate.
What content is unacceptable?
Any language that is not family friendly or content that is not event related vendor content will be rejected/removed.
My company was listed on the old Event Vendors.com site, and I cannot locate my login information, what should I do?
We imported all listings from our old site and created logins for you. Please use the e-mail address with which you registered your old listing with us as your username and request your password to be mailed to you. You can then change any of your registration or listing information. Please e-mail support@eventvendors.com if you require additional assistance.
Will you share my information?
We do not sell or share any of your personal information with other sites or companies. We will only e-mail you or contact you regarding your listing, subscription or other official business. Please note that any information you post to your listing is publicly available information for anyone visiting our site, so we cannot govern its use by visitors to our site.
Will you automatically charge me for my paid listing at renewal?
No, you will receive an invoice notification as we approach the end of your term reminding you to renew. At that time you can do nothing, and your listing will simply expire, renew your listing or upgrade to a more feature rich option.
Is my credit card information secure?
We process all payments through PayPal, so Event Vendors.com never sees or stores your credit card on its site. We only receive notification that you have paid so that we can process your subscription. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay us via their service.
I have a free listing, why do I am I receiving a renewal invoice?
Even if you have a free listing, you will still receive an "invoice" for $0 at the end of your term. This is so that we can verify that your information is still correct and that you wish to continue listing your company with us. You can simply renew for another free listing period or upgrade to a more feature rich option if you wish.
Can I upgrade my listing?
Yes, you can upgrade your listing to a more feature rich option at any time and will only be charged for the difference.
What do the paid listings provide that are not included in the free listing?
Each product level adds additional listing options. For example, the number of categories you wish for your company to appear in, the ability to use more formatting in your listing, the length of the descriptions you can include in your listings, the ability to add pictures, brochures, documents, etc. to your listing, the ability to specify meta text, keywords and descriptions to your listing that will allow it to show up in searches more effectively, the ability for visitors to forward your listing to a friend, increasing your visibility, the ability for your clients to leave reviews for you, etc. Also, paid listings will be displayed first in any searches.
